WIFI simple fix

If you are having trouble connecting to your WIFI network please check you have installed the Antennae supplied with your new gaming PC.

Otherwise you will get no or a very poor signal strength and download speeds even right next to your Broadband Hub/Router

These Antennae  will be located in a small yellow envelope inside your packaging

And need to be screwed at the rear of the PC as below

Please note the optimum position for the antennae is usually upright.

If you still cant connect to the WIFI

Please check that you are able to get a good signal from another device in that same room. Laptop or Phone etc. In some buildings the signal can depreciate very significantly in some spots. 

Also in some cases you may be able to get a reasonable signal at 2.4ghz but not at 5ghz this is because 5g provides a stronger signal at shorter ranges but depreciates over longer ranges and different wall materials.

So if this is the case consider switching to 2.4g or a cabled connection. 

Or switch the location of your PC to nearer  the location of the Router or device given to you by your internet or broadband provider
