Heat can be a major cause of system instability & can cause long term damage
Your gaming PC is designed to cool itself whilst gaming
Even so during very long gaming sessions & especially in hot weather or a hot room your PC will occasionally overheat and shut itself down to protect itself if the temperature hits the set threshold
This is quite normal and not to be concerned about as long as you position your PC carefully
So in everyday use it is important not to impede the cooling of your gaming PC especially during long gaming sessions
Please can you also make sure you are running the PC in an area with adequate ventilation.
You need good airflow around the case and all the case fans must not be obstructed at all.
It is important not to place the PC near radiators or other heat sources as this will lead to overheating
Also please check for any dust build up in the fans, or inside the case.
The best way to clean this out is carefully with a compressed air can, or very carefully with a clean soft paint brush.
