Often also called Front Panel Connectors
Inside Your PC you will find several cables and connections
The connections to the Power Button and LED power light (Not to be confused with the coloured Fan lights of your case) of your computer are as follows
The motherboard connection looks like this, sometimes this might be upside down or sideways
The pins we are interested in are 2, 4, 6, & 8
or in the picture the right hand pins,
green with yellow cross, solid green, black with yellow cross, & solid black
And the actual connectors will look like this
The colour scheme isn't standard & often these connectors are all plain black with white writing to distinguish between the the different connectors
However the actual naming/labelling scheme and the connectors usually are standardized so you should see POWERLED- POWERLED+ (sometimes these 2 individual cables are combined) and POWERSW
So on the connector
Green or Power LED+ goes on 2 or green with yellow cross
White or Power LED- goes on 4 or solid green
& Orange or PowerSW goes on 6 & 8 or Black with yellow cross & solid block
For the PowerSW it doesn't matter which way round it goes on, as its a simple on/off switch
If you still cant turn the PC on using the power switch, please send us some close some up pictures of these connections so we can check the connections are correct.
